Thinly slice the beef against the grain. Add the slices to the sauce, ensuring they’re thoroughly coated.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for about 5 hours, or until the beef is fork-tender.
Cooking
While the beef cooks, prepare a cornstarch slurry by whisking the cornstarch with a bit of cold water.
Once the beef is ready, sprinkle frozen broccoli florets over the beef mixture. Stir gently.
