How to Make Almond Cherry Snowballs

  • Mix in sweetened condensed milk and beat for about 2 minutes until well incorporated.
  • Pour in almond extract and continue beating until combined.
  • Gradually add all-purpose flour and baking powder, blending just until mixture comes together.
  • Carefully mix in the chopped red and green candied cherries until evenly distributed.
  • Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, keeping them about 2 inches apart.
  • Sprinkle the tops generously with sanding sugar.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly golden on the edges.
  • Let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
