How to Make Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Peel, core, and thinly slice the Granny Smith apples.
  • In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in the all-purpose flour until smooth, then add white sugar, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a gentle boil and let simmer.
