Ingredients

For the Filling

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Peppermint Extract adjust based on preference
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream whipped
  • a few drops Food Coloring (red/green) optional

For the Crust

  • 1 pkg Oreo Crust

For the Topping

  • ½ cup Crushed Peppermint Candy to sprinkle on top

Directions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  • In a separate medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the vanilla extract and peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture. If using food coloring, add it now too. Mix until well combined.
  • Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the mixed filling into the Oreo crust and spread it evenly. Top with crushed peppermint candy.
  • Chill the pie in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for best results. Chill for a minimum of 4 hours for proper setting. Store in the fridge covered for up to 5 days or freeze without toppings for up to 2 months.
