Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the chicken by patting it dry and seasoning it with salt and pepper.

Rest the chicken for 5 minutes, then slice it thinly.
Spread pesto evenly over the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
Distribute the sliced chicken over the pesto.
Top the flatbreads with shredded mozzarella and scattered cherry tomatoes.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese melts and the edges are golden.
Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, if desired, for extra crispiness.
Cool briefly, slice into servings, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a sweet touch. Store leftover flatbread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
