Ingredients

For the Cake Balls

  • 10 cakes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes Can substitute with any vanilla snack cake with cream filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened for easy mixing

For the Coating

  • 12 oz Vanilla Almond Bark Can use melting chocolate chips with coconut oil
  • 4 oz Red Candy Melts Can swap with red-tinted chocolate for a similar look

For Garnish

  • 1 cup Green Sugar Sprinkles Optional but recommended for festive appeal

Instructions

Making the Cake Balls

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and the Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes until well combined.
  • Scoop out portions and roll into 1 to 1.5-inch balls, placing them on the lined baking sheet. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Melt the vanilla almond bark in the microwave until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled cake ball in the melted almond bark, shaking off excess and returning to the lined sheet.
  • Before the coating sets, sprinkle with green sugar sprinkles.
  • Melt the red candy melts and drizzle over the coated balls for decoration.
  • Let the treats set at room temperature for 10 minutes or in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Store uneaten cake balls in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 2 months before coating.
