Ingredients

For the Beef Mixture

  • 1 lb Ground Beef lean
  • 1 pack Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom or Chicken Soup or a dairy-free alternative

For the Pasta

  • 2 cups Pasta Shells or small pasta shapes like rotini or penne

For the Creaminess

  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded

Directions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and brown the ground beef until no pink remains. Drain any excess fat.
  • If desired, add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to your crockpot. Add the ranch dressing mix, cream of mushroom or chicken soup, and sour cream. Stir well.
  • Gently fold in the uncooked pasta shells.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 3.5 to 4 hours, or on high for about 2 hours.
  • About 10 minutes before serving, stir and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Cover to let it melt.
  • Once melted, give it a gentle stir to combine and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley or Italian seasoning.

Notes

Optional: Sprinkle extra cheese on top before serving for an indulgent touch.
