  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry Use frozen, thawed for convenience
  • 1 cup Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread Nutella or any similar spread
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for brushing; substitute with milk for dairy-free

For Decoration

  • 1 tablespoon Flour For dusting while rolling out pastry
  • 1 piece Star Cutout To decorate the tree's top

Instructions

How to Make Delicious Nutella Pastry Christmas Tree

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • On a floured surface, roll out one thawed puff pastry sheet into a rectangle.
  • Score the puff pastry into a triangle and spread a thin layer of Nutella over it.
  • Roll out the second puff pastry sheet and cut it into the same tree shape, layering it on top.
  • Score the trunk and branches of the tree, twisting branches gently for shape.
  • Cut out a star from the leftover pastry and place it on top. Brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Optional: Dust with powdered sugar for extra flair before serving.
