How to Make Christmas Fudge

  • In a medium saucepan, mix together granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, milk, and unsalted butter. Stir until well combined and creamy.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture reaches a gentle boil, taking care not to let it burn.
  • Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes without stirring. This step is crucial for achieving the perfect fudgy texture.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly stir in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips. Mix until everything is melted and smooth.
