Instructions

How to Make Classic Christmas Cream Cheese Mints

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth for 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually blend in 2 cups of confectioners' sugar, then continue adding remaining sugar one cup at a time until thick and non-sticky.
  • Divide dough into three bowls. Color one with red gel, another with green gel, and leave the third plain.
  • Roll about 1 teaspoon of each colored dough into balls and flatten gently using a fork dipped in powdered sugar.
  • Allow the pressed mints to air dry for 2 to 4 hours or overnight for best texture.
