  • ¼ cup Whole milk or substitute with almond/oat milk
  • ¾ cup White sugar can mix with brown sugar for extra flavor
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract use pure for best results
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Pecan halves can use chopped pecans if preferred

How to Make Caramel Pecan Pie

  • Prepare the caramel sauce: In a saucepan over low heat, combine the unwrapped caramels, unsalted butter, and whole milk. Stir frequently until the mixture is melted and smooth, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Mix the filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the white sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually pour in the melted caramel mixture, stirring until well combined. Finally, fold in the pecan halves until they're evenly distributed.
  • Bake: Pour the delicious filling into your prepared pie crust and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C). Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling has set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  • Cool and serve: Allow the pie to cool for approximately 15 minutes before slicing. You can enjoy it either warm or chilled, with ice cream or whipped cream for an added touch of indulgence.
