How to Make Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Balls
Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
In a spacious mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy. Then, gently mix in the broken Little Debbie snack cakes until well combined.
Grab a cookie scoop and use it to create tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture, rolling them into smooth balls. Place them evenly on one of the prepared baking sheets.
Pop the baking sheet into the freezer for 30-45 minutes to help the cake balls set firm.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate wafers according to the package instructions. Stir until smooth.
Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, making sure to remove any excess by tapping the ball against the bowl's edge.
With a piping bag, drizzle melted red candy over the coated cake balls and add a sprinkle of green sanding sugar on top.
Allow the cake balls to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate firms up completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze uncoated cake balls for up to three months.
