How to Make Christmas Fudge

  • In a medium saucepan, mix 2 cups of granulated sugar, ¾ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, ½ cup of milk, and ½ cup of unsalted butter until well combined and smooth.
  • Place your saucepan over medium heat, then stir constantly until the mixture comes to a gentle boil.
  • Allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat, and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 cups of chocolate chips until melted and silky smooth.
  • Gently fold in any chopped nuts, if you'd like to add an extra crunch.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8x8 inch pan, and let it cool at room temperature until set, which will take about 2 hours.
