Cooking Instructions
In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook Italian sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Transfer the browned sausage to your crockpot. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juice), minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth.
Cube the cream cheese and scatter it over the sausage and tomato mixture.
Cover your crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
In the last 30 minutes, gently stir in the frozen tortellini and fresh spinach.
Once everything is cooked, taste your creation and add salt and pepper according to your preference.
