Ingredients
For the Base Mixture

cornstarch
Make sure it’s fully dissolved to avoid lumps.

water
The right amount ensures a gooey texture.

glycerin
Substitute with light corn syrup if preferred.

vinegar
Adjust to get the right consistency.
For Coloring and Scenting

Instructions
Directions
Combine the water and cornstarch in a pot. Stir well until fully dissolved.
Add glycerin and vinegar to the pot. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
Divide the mixture into bowls. Add natural food coloring to each bowl.
Use cookie cutters or molds to shape the mixture on a baking sheet.
Allow the suncatchers to dry thoroughly, preferably in a sunny location.
Notes
Ensure the cornstarch is fully dissolved to prevent clumps. Store fresh suncatchers away from direct sunlight.
