How to Make Vegan Caramel Apple Pastries
Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into ½-inch thick strips, reserving any scraps.
In a medium bowl, combine caster sugar and ground cinnamon.
Remove the cores and cut apples into thick slices, then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Wrap a pastry strip around each apple slice and secure with a dab of dairy-free milk.
Brush the tops with dairy-free milk and add any cookie cutter decorations.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown, then cool on trays before transferring to a rack.
Optionally drizzle warm vegan caramel sauce before serving.
