Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for even cooking.
  • Pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thickness between sheets of plastic wrap.
  • In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the chicken with olive oil and dip into the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
  • Place the coated chicken in the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and air fry for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Allow the chicken to rest for 2 minutes before serving and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
