  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced) Essential for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Feel free to use Italian seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme Substitute with marjoram if needed.
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional) Omit for a milder dish.

For the Flavor Boost

  • ½ cup Chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained) Contributes sweetness and tang.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter You can leave it out for a lighter version.
  • to taste Fresh basil or parsley For garnish.

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Whisk together chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl until smooth.
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce mixture over it.
  • Top the chicken with chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours until the chicken is fork-tender.
  • Add butter to the sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking and stir.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread for a complete meal. Optional: sprinkle with extra Parmesan before serving.
